May 21, 2013 Waukesha State Bank Saves 72% With LED Lighting Upgrades
Tuesday, May 21, 2013 –Logical Green Solutions LLC (LGS) of Waukesha, Wisconsin announced that on April 30, it upgraded the existing parking lot light fixtures at Waukesha State Bank’s Oconomowoc Office to energy efficient, long-lasting LED lighting. The new LED lighting saves Waukesha State Bank 72% on its lighting electrical bill compared to the previous fixtures and maintenance requirements. LGS kept the existing light poles and fixture heads and upgraded them with USA-made LED modular lighting.
This exterior lighting upgrade replaced existing 400-watt metal halide lights with new LED lights that only use 126 watts. The new LED lights are rated for 80,000 hours of use whereas the existing metal halide lights were only rated for 20,000 hours of use. The upgrade also will save significant maintenance time and costs. The LED lights are directional, providing better quality of light and substantially less light pollution.
Waukesha State Bank is one of the largest locally owned and independent banks in Wisconsin, with full-service offices in Brookfield, Delafield, Mukwonago, Muskego, New Berlin (opening in June 2013), Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Sussex and Waukesha. It also has wealth management services that include a trust and qualified plan division. For more information, visit the company's website at www.WaukeshaBank.com.
”Waukesha State Bank is always looking for ways to be more efficient. Not only in our banking operations, but in our facilities management,” said Marynell Costa, Vice Present of Operations for Waukesha State Bank. “Upgrading to the new LED lights is one simple way we can have a significant impact on our energy costs, while reducing our maintenance staff time.”
LGS’ team evaluates your existing lighting systems, calculates lighting energy used, and determines existing maintenance costs. A site specific analysis is completed to identify areas where customers receive maximum return on investment (ROI) when an LED lighting upgrade plan is implemented. LGS’ LED portfolio includes an LED upgrade lamp for almost any existing interior or exterior fixture up to 1,000 watts. LGS LED lamps are from USA-based manufacturers and are either UL or ETL rated. LGS is a Focus on Energy Trade Ally and assists customers to obtain maximum rebates and tax deductions.
LGS’ LED retrofit lighting upgrades are the first green product that can pay for itself, plus provide immediate, positive cash flow. LGS offers a monthly payment option, so that capital expenditures are not required.
Some of LGS’ LED lighting upgrade clients include: Waukesha State Bank, Sake Tumi, Milwaukee Art Museum, Culvers, Concordia University Waukesha, LIFE Charter School, Carroll University, Indulgence Chocolatiers, 501 Grand LLC, University Tower, Harley Davidson, and Boulder Venture.
